What is the ekklesia?

(eh-kleh-see-uh)

The gathering of at least 2 or 3 believers presided by the Holy Spirit around the Manifest Presence of Jesus with the authority to bind and release for God's will to be done, on earth, as it is in heaven.

Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them. (Matthew 18:18-20, NIV)

EKKLESIA EVERYWHERE is a worldwide multiracial, multiethnic, multicultural coalition of Christians committed to making the world a better place by inserting goodness, peace, and joy where those virtues are lacking by encouraging Christians to take the power and the presence of God to their spheres of influence (home, school, and workplace). The Church is people indwelled by the Spirit of God. Members will receive ongoing encouragement through daily devotionals and weekly Holy Spirit downloads.

The lifestyle of Ekklesia Everywhere members is Prayer Evangelism comes from Luke 10:5-9 where we are instructed to BLESS (v. 5) and not blast those that we disagree with…FELLOWSHIP (v.7) and not avoid them…MINISTER (v.9) to their felt needs rather than judge them…and PROCLAIM (v. 9) that the Kingdom of God, with all its goodness, peace, and joy, has come near them.

Ekklesia: Rediscovering God's Instrument for Global Transformation

eked.jpg

It's no secret that the church today has lost its influence in culture. But why? With the technology, affluence, and knowledge we have today, why are we less effective than the first-century church-- which didn't have social media, fancy buildings, professional pastors, or even religious freedom?

What are we missing?

In these vital, eye-opening pages, bestselling author Ed Siloso takes you back to the first day of the church. Digging into Scripture, he shows how the New Testament church -- devoid of buildings, professional clergy, and religious freedom -- was able to transform the hostile, pagan places into which it was born and set in motion a process that changed the world forever.

Even more, Silvoso offers a roadmap back to becoming the ekklesia Jesus called his church to be. In the midst of the social, economic, political, and moral chaos in our world today, we possess the hope that people and nations so desperately need -- and we can become the revolutionary, transformational, life-giving voice Jesus called us to be.
